One Sweet Baptism

I was so excited about the opportunity to work with a friend of mine on her daughters baptism. She was the mastermind behind it all and I was there to help her bring this sweet vision to life. After going through several ideas we landed on a candy theme. She made the fabulous lolli pop centerpieces (pic #3)

I got to help out with custom monogrammed cupcake toppers that we did in baby pink, hot pink, lime green and teal with a white letter “Y” looooooooved how these came out!  I also did 12 paper florals with polka ribbon, a custom monogrammed signature platter and a handmade seating chart.

Check out all the fabulous pics from this lovely event!

Surprise 10th Anniversary Party!!!

Helping plan this surprise 10th anniversary party was especially fun because it was for a friend and business mentor of mine! We wanted to keep it simple but still incorporate a lot of special details about the couple. The favors I created consisted of solid white boxes filled with shredded paper and color themed m&ms garnished with a calligraphy tag displaying the couples monogram and party date.

I also created custom placecards for the guests with cards that were custom designed by one of my vendors. I then wrote each guests name is silver calligraphy.

The simple but beautiful invitations were also custom made along with a special little poem to make sure the guests knew that the party was a surprise and they came out so cute! To top off with another personal touch, I had my vendor create a custom signature platter with couples colors, monogram and party date – the couple used this instead of a traditional guest book.

Congratulations on 10 years of wedded bliss, and so happy I could be part of it all! 🙂

Puerto Rican Capia Favors!

Just wrapped up a fabulous order for a Puerto Rican wedding! The bride came to me after I had worked with her maid of honor on her bridal shower. She was so pleased with her shower that she came to me for the wedding too.

She and her now husband really wanted to incorporate their cultures into their big day. Per her request she wanted to have traditional Puerto Rican ‘capia’ favors. These favors included printed ribbon from Puerto Rico with the bride and grooms names and their wedding date. Inside I created little printed cards with the story of the capia – the card were hand punched and scalloped to add that little something extra!

Congratulations B&B!

Check out this custom ceramic signature platter the bride gave to the groom at the rehearsal dinner! Fabulous alternative to a traditional guest book!
